We didn’t plan much before heading east again. We only had two stops planned. First, we were going to visit our friends in Prague, which was also a nice destination to reach on the first day of driving. The second was our friend in Romania, for whom we were carrying motorbike parts. On our way, we chose to stop in the capitals of most of the countries we crossed. First, obviously, Prague.
Although we were in Austria for a few hours, we skipped Vienna because it didn’t fit into our route. We stopped only once and realized there was an oil deposit in Europe that we had never heard of. This stop also brought us to some cherries. They were nice, although a little wormy.
Next, we visited Bratislava, Slovakia, and the surrounding area.
Finally, we arrived in Budapest, Hungary. Since all of these capital cities were close to our route, we decided to take the chance to explore their historical areas.
After traveling for another week, we will enjoy a short break in Romania. We just arrived at his place, a nice horse farm that he recently started running. We are looking forward to learning about his new plans and are excited about the upcoming experiences, which especially include seeing our friend again!
